The primary issues involve the polarization of America, wherein you have the extreme conservatives, like Rush Limbaugh suggesting that under Clinton America was "held captive" and under Bush, (which one???) the extreme liberals were hating him for every thing he did or said, even things they voted to support (like the war in Iraq).

It is my sense that this period of time with go down as one of the most divisive and polarized periods in American history, and no matter who is elected next, it will continue, or may even get worse.
