Absolutely not because I feel that a cornucopia of words in a vernacular makes for a truly remarkable and intelligent person. I use a plethora of large words in my vocabulary.

My son does...it annoys him to no end when I use big $2.00 words... :)
It only bothers me when people use big boy words with out a real clue as to what they really mean...funny, but annoying!

Not really. I tend to use big words, and I find it irritating when people gawk at me after using them. But, I've gotten used to it. Using little words is easier said than done!

Miss what they are getting at kind of.
Distracted and miss part of what they are talking about, yes.
Let Lt. Dan speak to the soldiers under him and see how long he would survive in a combat zone!
