I heard a teacher had sex with a student and went to jail. A more attractive teacher did the same thing and had a much lighter punishment (not sure what exactly though). I rest my case...

3 for sure, but ugly may not get you away with it like cute, but I don't think jail for shoplifting is a common unless there are repeated offenses.
