I was wondering if anone has heard of DC making a SPECTRE movie. Religious beliefs aside I think it would make one hell of a movie if done true to the tom mandrake and ostrander print run of the series. They made CONSTANTINE and it had alot of religious imagry and references, but no one got tee'd off.

Nope I haven't heard anything about a Specter movie..Though I would watch it. I loved Constantine..though I'm a Keanu Reeves fan .
Wonder who would play the Specter if they did the movie.

I would LOVE to see a Spectre movie! He’s one of my favorite DC characters, and the 1970’s version, (the vicious Spectre, where he as turning criminals into logs and running them through sawmills; or animating mob bosses rubber duckies to huge size to eat them alive) was the best!

they did talk about doing one way back in the 90s when the studios were churning out comic book movies like nuts. but after so many super hero films ended up going straight to video and bombing the idea got shelved.
