I am planning on getting a lip piercing in the next two days, and I was wondering when I get older and decide not to want it anymore, if I take it off will the hole heal and look normal again, like an ear heals after no earring for a while?

i just got a monroe piercing and i asked the tatto artist the same thing before i got it done and he said the skin will grow back if you want to take it out

yes it will heal and depending on how u scar. if u scar a lot then u will probably have a little scar in the spot. if u are unsure i would suggest getting stick on jewels and/or a ring to wear around for a while before u get it done. why spend $30+ dollars on a piercing u may not like, when u can get a $5 ring to test it out
