I recently got a terrible sunburn on my shoulders, they finally stopped peeling (for the most part) but now my skin is two different colors! Does anyone know a way to get the skin color matching again??? Thanks!

You gotta use sunscreen for this job! If you put a nice 45 rated sunscreen the paler spots will still brown but the already tanned parts will be slowed down. The suncreen is also very nourishing to your skin since it's full of emolients. I have been able to get rid of tan lines in less than a week by using strong sunscreen. The stronger it is the quicker you will begin to "match". zinc oxide won't work though since it won't allow any sun through to retan the lightened parts.

Try pure aloe vera. You burned the skin so you are seeing (new) the skin underneath. Only time will make the new skin look old and match the other side. You could try makeup or wear a top to cover your shoulders until the skin colors match.

Get an Aloe plant...they don't coast a lot of money. Cut part of an arm off, and then slice it in half. Take the aloe inside of it and put it on the burn. It's going to be very slimy; but it feels great on the skin and it will help the color get back to normal. And the part that you cut off will grow back. Be more careful in the sun too.

Two different colors aye. Sounds familiar....i once got a REALLY bad farmers tan... Use Jergens Natural Glow stuff only on the paler parts of your skin. Want immediate color change ? I have gross sun freckles on my shoulder that look like dirt. I use foundation on them and POOF they're gone. But i only suggest foundation that stays put cuz it'll stain your clothes otherwise.........GOOD LUCK !

for one thing you should not sun bake as its bad for your skin, next my daughter suggested put some makeup on it or go to a beau-ti therapist and get some tips from them. hope that helps you .T
