My parents are pretty old, so I consider under 40 relatively young. (well young in the sense that they're not middle aged or old)

I think it depends on what age you are. I am over 50 now and late 20s seems young to me. However it didn't seem young when I was in my late 30s.

Well I have a four year old that acts like she is 15 (as do her friends at school) these days, young seems to be, uh, 2.

It's relative! It depends on how young or old you are!
The older I get the older" young" is.
I've also noticed my definition of old is always about 10 years older than I am at the time!

As long as a person can remain cheerful, they are ageless. Now that doesnt mean they will not age in the body, but I think even people as old as my mom can be considered young. My mom is 86. but because of her attitude, she is a young person. If you ever met my mom, you would think so too.
Young is as a person thinks. I have known some pretty old characters who were in their 20's. But because they acted like the crochety old men like in the movie, "Grumpy old men"
I considered them old. Youngsters are people who have a happy attitude towards life

That is a very vague question. Too young for adult content? Since I am in my 40's, everyone younger than me is considered young. Please be more specific.
