Some pictures or videos from home. Can they watch movies there? DVDs of the TV shows he likes, or some movies that came out recently. You could record some of the shows he likes and send that. CD's, There is a website that gives a lot of good ideas for care packages but I don't remember the name of it. You could try to search for it. They had things listed there that you probably wouldn't think of.

I found the website. It is anysoldier.com. Soldiers can post stuff that they want there. If you click on where to send or what to send, you might find some good ideas.

If I were you I would I would get pictures of all the different friends back here doing funny things, also just your everyday pictures and then get on-line and copy off a bunch of funny jokes that he can share with the rest of the men over there. I use to chat with a man over there and I would send jokes all the time. Him and all the other soldiers sent me thank you's for giving them something to smile about... Good luck to you ...and by the way tell your husband thankyou from my family for protecting us. God Bless ...

Do you have children? Try making a special scrapbook of events he has missed or a photo calendar. Buy the same book and/or movie and each watch it separately and discuss it via letter and/or email. Make a CD of sentimental songs that remind you of your relationship and each other. This is silly and I'm not sure if this is allowed, but what about bedding (sheets and pillowcases) scented with your perfume for him. I tend to like to give my husband presents that I have made because I feel it is the thought that counts and he loves them more than store bought gifts.

Good luck.

Name a star after him. You can get on the web and a do a search. There are a few companies out there...that offer that service. You get a certificate and a specific star in the skies and you pick the area and then the mail you the package. it's great. then when you both look up in the sky there he is.

What about a home movie of you and his family and friends? You could video yourself visiting some of y'alls favorite spots while you talk about good times you remember of the two of you together or something like that. It would be personal and give him a gift he is really wanting...a piece of home and the family that loves him.
BTW, thank you to you and your brave husband for serving our country!!

I'm not sure how old you are or how comfortable you are with your body but this may be a suggestion for you. maybe see if you can get a beautiful picture done of yourself with a nice piece of longerie on and frame it where he would be proud to look of and and remember you everyday until the next time he sees you. and along with this write him either a beautiful letter or poem i'm sure he with adore you for this.

A VIDEO RECORDER WOULD BE SOMETHING THAT HE COULD USE OVER THERE TO VIDEO THE THINGS THAT HE SEE. MY HUSBAND JUST GOT BACK FROM IRAQ AND THAT WAS HIS FAVORITE GIFT WHILE THERE. WE HAVE MORE LITTLE MOVIES THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE. IF HE HAS THAT ALREADY THEN MAYBE A HOME VIDEO OF WHAT IS GOING ON BACK HOME WOULD BE SOMETHING THAT HE WOULD REALLY ENJOY.
