Xbox 360 All the way FTW! First of all the ps3 is over price. With the xbox 360 u can buy/rent movies for as little as 3 dollars. Plus when ur dowloading a movie u can be doing something else. You can be playing a game or listening to music or watching a movie. When u dowload something on the ps3 it takes 30 minutes and u can do any other thing. I was going to get the ps3 but when i saw the xbox 360 game line up i was like wow im not missing out on halo or gears. In this generation the xbox 360 will have more exclusives and better games. Plus microsoft is getting ps3 exclusives and bringing them over to the 360. The ps3 network (online) sucks comparing to xbox live. Yes xbox live has been on for around 3 years and have improve but it keeps on getting better and better. The ps3 network might get better but it will and it does have alot of lagg during the games. When u play games online (xbox live) u are playing on servers that are own and operated by microsoft. When playing online with the ps3 u are playing on servers that are owned by the games company. One day the company might run out of buissness and shut off their server but microsoft wont. On the downside u have to pay 50 dollars to get xbox live gold. On xbox live to play games online u have to get xbox live gold. You have to pay 50 bux but wait.... theres a way to get xbox live gold for free ohhhh yeah. Just make a new account each month. The ps3 and xbox 360 are equally powered. The ps3 has a cell chip with has 8 small procersors; the 8 procesors are all weak. But why do people say its a powerful machine? Because with 8 small procesors in the chip it makes it powerful. The xbox 360 has 3 cores. They are not weak procesors unlike the ps3. They are medicore strong. So when it comes to power and graphic they are equally the same. All in all the xbox 360 is better for several reasons.

Ohh wait the ps3 doesn't have rumble but the xbox 360 does.

forget the crap these so called"xbox360 lovers" are telling you . first off, i was the dumb*ss that got the ps3 off the internet for 850 bucks. and right now , i got my money's worth. i also got the xbox360(only because the guy at my nearest gamestop said that i wouldn't have the chance to get a ps3 any time soon). the 360 is pretty neat, it is nice machine to start out with, but the ps3 is waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy better. first of people are saying crap that the ps3 is horrible, expensive, worthess, and copies off the other consoles. well, that would be the same sh*t head that don't have one because their mom's or dad's wouldn't get one for them. so,they really cant say anything bad about the ps3. the only thing i do agree with is the fact tht the ps3 is pricey,but in the long run, it will be worth it. when the 360 came out, it had a h*ll of a lot of defective consoles, now take a look at the problems the ps3 had.........about 3. when these sh*theads are saying the ps3 copied the other systems, take a look when the ps1 came out. it had 3-d graphics. then a couple months later nintendo 64 went and copied their idea.now when the ps3 came with a built-in blue ray disc player, the 360 decided to add an additional hd-dvd player for $200. then microsoft will release another xbox360 (which is a different color with stuff added to it)so, to answer you question, the ps3 is better.

Well seen as the ps3 has come out at a mega price, the xbox 360 seems like a much bigger value for money. Xbox have even made a newer, more powerful version of the 360 which will knock out any competition that the ps3 stands.
Sayin this, the playstation is well known for being a more powerful system and theres probably a lot more to see with it.

i would have to say for the next 6-10 months, xbox is and will be better, as xbox live is infinitely better than PS3's network store, there is more game selection, and more fun right now. It's also much cheaper. But the PS3 has potential, some good games coming up, the graphics are a little bit better, and the price will drop. So, it's really your choice, they're both great consoles, but i would say Xbox360 for now.

i own both and of course xbox is winning the bout.But u gotta think about how xbox has been out for a year so they had plenty of time to release most of its franchise games and accesories while the ps3 has been out for a only 5 months....sure it hasnt shown much but i give it time so it can release its top games and accesories and updates to make it equal if not better than the 360.but for right now i got to hand it to the 360

ps3 and here are my reasons yea i know the price is high like 500-600 bucks but if you go with the 360 look on the net and find how many problem with that system it had tons and im one of those ppl that my 360 crashed damn microsoft, but the ps3 price is high for a reason cuz it rocks and if you look how many reports the ps3 has had and like none ok mabey 3 yea you heard 3 reports i heard the ps3 is just better if anyone wants to talk and discuss this with me email me at [e-mail] and anyone that disagrees with me are bigg total douche bags hahahaha

PS3 completely. The PS3 is the best (like all Sony products) and it can play PS1, PS2, and PS3 games, and it has a Blu-Ray disk reader, and if you really techie, then you can try to make it have a DVD plater instead. I think it is good for Sony (although it doesn't really feel good) that people are buying the PS3 because it is cheaper than a regular Blu-Ray player.

When I heard about the PS3 coming out I began saving for one, because based on the specs, it sounds great.

On the release week, I studied the release schedule for the next 6 months, and there was only ONE game I wanted from 30 or more.

Needless to say I purchased a Xbox360, because of what games had come out and coming out soon. =)

All depends on the games you want to play.
