I've always used my fingertips and blended with a wedge. Will I get better coverage using a foundation brush instead? Or does a foundation brush just help you to spread the foundation more evenly? I want to achieve as natural of a look as possible with my foundation.

You get a more even application. It will look more natural. Just make sure you apply it from the forehead down. It will keep it out of your eyebrows.

NEVER USE SPONGES! You are better off using your fingers rather than a sponge. Sponges soak up 50% of your foundation and THEY GROW BACTERIA!

Honestly, I would say use a sponge to apply your foundation. My foundation looks really cakey when I use a foundation brush, even if I use a pea-size amount. Although sponges absorb most of the foundation, you’ll find it easier to blend your foundation in properly. Plus you can wash the sponges every now and then with a gentle shampoo so you don’t have to keep on buying new ones. Your fingers contain bacteria, even if you wash them thoroughly because there’ll always be some dirt trapped under your fingernails. There is no right or wrong way of application, but I would personally go for sponges all the way. Good luck :)

A foundation brush gives you a better coverage of the area you're working one or all face if you want.

well benefits would be that you aren't spreading bacteria on your face that could cause pimples and you aren't adding oils to your face. plus the brush spreads everything evenly and nicely. helps you get that natural look you want.

I think that brushes spread more evenly. Also, brushes don't waste as much makeup, because the brush doesn't pick up too much makeup unless, you want it too.

well i have never used a sponge wedge but i do use a brush over my fingers because when you use your fingers you are rubbing more oils into your face from your fingers. so i reccomend a brush.
