Ladies (men can answer too), what is usually your reaction when...?

Question

you're walking in public somewhere and you get that dreadful "hate stare" from some jealous girl, or a whole group of young hootchies?

For men, do you ever get those kind of dirty looks? what do you do?

I hate getting those look too. I usually put on a big bright smile and stare at the person or the whole group in their face and laugh. Then walk pass them and continue on my way.

No, I never get those stares, at least not walking around. They only come when a fight is eminent and in those cases we fight and that look either disappears or the fight continues. In the end the look is something along the idea of "What have I gotten my self in for, this guy is crazy!" and that is when I realize it is time to stop. Stares and intimidations are as much an assault legally as a slap in the face or a punch in the gut. People should take them more seriously before they attempt to employ them. Fighters will assume you know what you are getting yourself in for and just start beating you until they think otherwise. I grew up around such people. Hopefully, you will never meet any.

I'm not usually hated like that because I'm not stuck up and I don't look like I am better than everybody. I usually just walk by and don't say anything, let them think that they are better than me.

I get that quite often from guys.

*I look them in the eye, force a smile, and say, "hi" to them.

**Most of them "back down".

**The rest of them don't normally know what to do as I just walk on past them.
