am 56 yr. old lady. Got my first 22 rifle at twelve years old. Was shooting way before that at dads side. Always had guns in the house. It depends on how you were raised. Back then we would get a whuppen if we even touched one without permission, and the whuppen was bad. Cant whup no more so who knows. My children both shoot and son has permit to carry also. I sleep with mine loaded beside my bed, and can probebly outshoot you. Killed me three wild boar last year, lol, and hike by myself in the woods, however, its the two legged critters I mainly keep one loaded for.

It depends by what you mean by weapons. Anything could be used as a weapon to protect yourself and your children, and I would use what ever I could lay my hands on.

But if you are talking about actual weapons, bought for that sole use - then no - NO WAY

One child- 14 months old, she's secured in a lock box with a safety lock.

Firearms, a couple of swords, and a knife given to me by a Navy Seal. The guns are secure, the swords are accessable (but not to the kid), and the knife is "away."

You refer to weapons hove ever, a friend of mine refers to his brain as the most dangerous weapon he has, says he creat anything he might need from what ever he has on him.

I saw him creat a razor blade on an air plane once. Cool trick.

Yes I have weapons in my house. All homes have weapons. There are all the knives that we use to carve the meat on Sunday, Then there are skewers to for kebabs,Then there are are electric Saws to do DIY, Then there are hammers for banging in Nails. ....... I won't go on the list is endless.

And Yes I have got a child.

Yes, but keep the guns and ammo locked in separate places. Keep the keys in a safe place the kids don't no of. Be sure your children understand how dangerous guns are as soon as they're old enough to know about htem at all. Teach them proper gun saftey as soon as is apporpriate.

5 children, no weapons, well we have an old civil war rifle but they dont make amo for it any more. Besides that no weapons.
