I am asking for a friend so please leave the smart comments to yourself. He really needs one, she has a lawyer and he is really getting strung out without one.

Try and hire a Paralegal. They actually do the Attorneys legwork (paperwork) so they are just as good and a whole lot cheaper. They just cant take a case into court itself but in some states Paralegals can actually handle divorce cases as well as smaller crime cases in court too. Most Paralegals are attached to an attorney that they work with so if the case needs an actual attorney the Paralegal usually has one on hand. Find them in the yellow pages. Good luck
