I would like to start loosing weight but I'm not sure what to do to get started. I would like to loose about 100 lbs. It's sometimes hard for me to work out because of my weight. If anyone has some ideas for low impact or easy to do exercises could you let me know please. Thanks!

Get a job at a plus size store. It's worked wonders for me, though of course thats silly, I know when i loose weight the first thing i do is actually drop about 30 pounds before I start exercising, though that isnt recommended either. Best of luck to you!

Well, I wouldn't be much of an expert on this, but I guess I have a starting approach to this.

First of all, I know it can be hard starting to lose weight.
Reasons can include:
1) you don't have the confidence to do so
2) too lazy to get up and move
3) give up and can't keep it up.

Since you're just starting out and looking for simple exercises and the such, I would suggest the following:

1) boost your confidence
without this, you probably wouldn't be able to withstand the first few days. you have to stay true to your cause. =D
it's difficult at first, so you should keep it up and don't give up.

2) you should find something you enjoy doing physically.
ex: do you like to walk? run?
do you like simple exercises such as catch?
or perhaps even stretching or doing crunches?

whatever it is, i suggest you start out with doing what you like to do best, because it will help you build up confidence as well as make the job easier.

3) keep a healthy diet.
limit the junk/fats you intake. now, i'm not telling you to completely dispose of all those addicting foods, just to lower the amounts. it's quite hard to give up something you like at first, but you want to be healthy, right?

4) get up more often.
limit the time you sit. this can cause fats to be stored in the thighs and stomach.

Well, I hope that helped.
It's doesn't really help in losing all those pounds, but it is a start right?
Besides, it's not that complicated for a start, right?

Well, I hope that helped.

Well start by walking a mile 4 times out of the week.Eating well. For breakfast eat like a muffin, cup of 2 percent milk, and 1 egg. For lunch eat like a can of tuna, boil egg,a fruit, unsweetened ice tea and a slice of wheat bread. For dinner have like one whole chicken breast,a cup of string beans, cup of brown rice and unsweetened tea. For desert have a cup of vanilla ice cream with some strawberries. While u in the house get u some exercise tapes. While u doing your exercise breathe in and out slowly. Do the same as u walk. If u don't want to walk get u a tread mill and take your time at first. Try not to over do it when u first start out. Replace other good foods with the menu I provide at the top.

If you try to walk and it hurts your legs and or knees. Try going to a pool or to the beach. Go in about waist deep and run to create resistance and it would be less of an impact on your knees.

I know its hard (I have a few overweigh family memebers including myself) but try to watch what youre eating. Try and create a food diary and log down what ever you eat in a day, you might be suprised as to how much youre taking in. If possible eat smaller portions but more often during the day. Try to eat 6 meals a day instead of just 3 but a lot smaller in quantities.

Breakfast- 1 egg and 1 pc toast
Mid Snack- 1 fruit or veg
Lunch- Sandwhich or salad
Mid Snack- fruit, veg or nuts
Dinner- protein and vegtable

It helped for me.

Low impact exercises include walking and anything aquatic.

If you're serious about losing weight, then like it or not, you need to see a registered dietitian for assistance.

Start out "slowly" take it easy.If u need to loose that much weight ,remember it didn't take a week to get that way,& it's going to take some time to take off the weight.U need to eat right also. There are many weight loss programs out there, talk to other people, get support.Have faith &take care Good luck.

I would recommend starting off with a slow walk and then gradually build up when it comes to exercise.
