Job hiring help...SSN?

I've tried applying online with big company's (staples/costco etc)...They all ask for SSN...But I don't feel comfortable giving out my Social online...and no...I don't want to hear (its safe)...BS...Well...What a big company that I can apply in person...or anyplace hiring in San Bernardino County???

try writing " available upon acceptance"
that way, u can apply to those jobs
and still keep your ssn safe

I've never encountered an on-line job app that asked for an SSN. Just leave it blank for now. If it won't take a blank SSN field, use all zeros.
