Back in the day, I loved playing StarCraft because it was a strategy type game and it had an incredible online network of other human players.
What game out there would be the equivalent to StarCraft today? I'm looking for a fun strategy/war game that also has a FREE online network of players. I want a LOT of online players, not 5-15 here and there.

Regardless if you're from Korea or USA, Starcraft is STILL one of the most played games on the planet.
Today's equal, would be Warcraft 3.

Starcraft is still insanely popular in South Korea. It is almost a Professinal sport there!

starcraft is still starcraft in korea, they even have a television Channel for it,
24 hours a day starcraft
