You can't! You need to upgrade your computer if you want top perfrmance. i had to upgrade my drive to 80gb until I can get a brand new pc, and this drive is dedicated to the Sims, everything else goes to the other drive and it is still a it slow. Clean your pc & defragment regularly. And if you have downloads, check your folder with the clean installet to make you sure you dont have a file several times and if you see something you dont like in your game take the time to delete it.

There's no such thing as a program that will make your games run any faster. (Wherever you got that info from lied)
A game's speed depends on your computer's hardware. RAM, CPU and Video RAM are the main factors.
It also depends on how many other programs you're running at the same time. ie anti virus, chat programs etc.

i'm sorry, but unless you have a performance affliction due to spyware (which, if you do, use ad-aware), there are no downloads to increase performance. You need to get a more powerful processor, or more RAM, or a new computer altogether if it is really laggy. sorry, hope this helps =(
