I was just checking out one of my friend's facebook pages and she had so many contacts of people we knew from Elementary school. It was so weird to see what they look like, and what they're doing now, and it brought back bad memories (because I was bullied and was a loner.)

There are doctors and lawyers and teachers from my class. One guy played briefly for the Detroit Lions and one was a distance runner in the Olympics. One is a murderer and one was murdered but by a different guy. One owed or still owns professional sports teams in the East. A woman has been in the chorus of Broadway shows and another, her best friend in high school was a newscaster for CBS. Then there is me. Some college, family person who worked in a convenience store for 23 years and babysits her granddaughters now. Oh well. I love my life!

There is only one person I really care what shes up to and we're still in touch. We've known each other literally all our lives (we grew up next door to one another) Our other best friend passed away in 2003. Our 20 year class reunion is coming up this summer and we both have said we'd go if the other did....I really don't want to but I would go just because she asked me to...

Yes, I live in the same town as most of them. I am still best friends with the one I was best friends with in school.
I graduated 25 years ago.
