I'd like to be paid less for a job i truly like and that eventually would pay more.

I will assume you meant either getting paid more for a job you didn't like or getting paid less for a job you DID like...I would prefer to get paid less for a job that I DID like...life is too short to be miserable and money isn't everything

Most people will tell you to do whatever type of work you enjoy doing, regardless of the money. I disagree with them. I believe that work is work - no matter how you look at it. You really should be doing whatever makes you the most money that you can simply "stand" or "put up with." This is because you will LIVE your life on weekends, vacation, and in retirement. Not 9-5 during the work week...so you're going to need the cash to LIVE your life.

Assuming you meant didn't for both, and that's not a typo, I'd go for more money. Why be miserable and broke. I could be miserable at work and still shop on the weekends, and that would be better at least.
