That really depends on the girl. Is she deserving? Is she responsible? Would she be appreciative and take care of them? Does she want them for the RIGHT reason, not just to be popular? Does the person paying for them feel it's the right thing to do and not just trying to appease a whinny teen? I personally see nothing wrong with it as long as the answers to all of the above questions are yes. Or, if they're a reward for doing something worthy of appreciation and praise.

No not if they prove that they are responsible. i got my first designer purse at 11 and it's Fendi and i still have it in perfect condition and I'm 24 right now!! If you have a daughter or a niece or something that you want to a buy designer item then see how responsible she is and then get it!!!!

Designer clothes and purses are my life! (and i am a teenage girl.) just don't expect it all the time or get really obnoxious about it, that is really annoying.

Not if that is all they will wear, and take care of them. A few pieces of designer clothing doesn't hurt anyone, as long as it's not too much.

I think it's a great idea if she gets everything she needs. In case she does just make sure it's done in consistency and she appreciates and takes care of the clothing.

if shes gonna take care of them AND deserves them no. but if shes just a spoiled little biaaaa.. and acts like the girls u see on My super sweet 16 [sorry!.. its the truth] then you shouldnt because she probably will take them for granted. If shes a good kid and deserves them, once in a while a gift isnt bad............maybe after getting good grades or something like that

There's nothing wrong with that..it all depends on the girl's sense of style and her parents choice. As long as she doesn't act snobby, there's nothing wrong. I she does, then maybe she should lessen down on designer.

hell no. my daddy buys me $90 t-shirts, $150 jeans, $80 shirts, gucci purses, louis vuiton purses, prada purses and all these other designer purses and im only 12. my hole entire wardrobe is deginer. is perfectly fine even though people say im only 12. i guess im gonna get better things in life b4 others and its OK

NOT AT ALL. my mom bought me like 3 of the and i weas soo appericiative and i never did anything to it. i is a nice thing for your teen, really, then she can feel pretty and beautiful, like she should feel

i think it depends on the girl in terms of it being 'bad' it oculd be mistreated if the girl is irresponsible but it really depends on the girl
