You ask, "Does anyone know . . . ?"
There can be only two possible answers to that question:
Somebody knows
or
Nobody knows.
Certainly there must be someone out there who knows.
So my answer is a resounding
YES!!
But is that what you really were asking about?
Maybe you wished to determine HOW MANY people know?

Hm, well, monsters give shape to the shapeless, don't they? A face we can confront with our fears... instead of a formless dread residing under the bed.... muhahhaha..... in creating monsters, we are able to give form to our fears, or those qualities about ourselves that we would consider "bad" or "evil" and more easily do battle with them....

I guess fake monsters represent very real fears. Try to think of something that scares you and then personify it as a being - I don't think it will come out lokking like a fairy princess.
