Volvo generally recommends every 7,500 miles or every 12 months. Personnally if it was my car i would change the oil every 3000 miles or 3 months. BY the way did your dealer tell you that your first service at 7,500 miles was complimentary?

on any car, it's best to change it every 3000 miles along with a filter Or every 3 months. Although, if you use full synthetic oil you could double the mileage on it without it going bad.

Ummm, try looking in your owners manual, it's in there with all the other "recommended maintenance"...it even tells you the recommended type and grade of oil too...

it should say in your owner's manual. In general it's 3,000 to 5,000 miles depending on the kind of drving you do.

Any engine should be change 3mouths or 3k miles
