shamans..? are they bad? help help?!?!?

I recently e-mailed a pyschic for a free tarot reading and she said that she was a shaman. I asked her if there was anyway to reunite with my love. She told me he still loved me very much with his heart but his mind isn't 100% with me at the moment.
She also mentioned she could help me by freeing herself from this world's energies and enter his mind to view his fear and negative thoughts and replace them with postives once more along with romance and passion.
Would this be wrong?
I don't want to go against my love's will... I want this... us to be real.
Aren't shamans suppose to work with nature and your soul, and spirits?
Also what does a spirit passed over cancer and is watching over you mean?

My love isn't possive of me...we're not together.

It would definitely be wrong for her to do such a thing (and likely rather expensive, after all, it is only the first reading that is free, not any extra services).

Don't even think about manipulating your love that way. If it is meant to be, it will, and in the meantime you should consider "exploring your options".

If she claims to be removing bad or negative energies and fears then how could this be wrong? If she said that he still loves you, and he is just distracted - he will eventually come back to you anyway. It all depends on what you are willing to do to get that person back in your life. Maybe he only needs some space. I have never worked with a shaman so I really don't know anything about what they do.

Shamans are highly individualistic spiritual folks. Some are plumb crazy. Some aren't. Basically, they talk with spirits and use 'primitive' magicks, usually involving meditation or trances. You'll be ok.
A spirit that passed over cancer means a person who died from cancer. That person watching over you means that person is currently watching over you. The healthiest thing is to move on over your love. If your lover is the decent sort, than your love would want you to be happy and someday find another. It is helpful that she can help him to understand that he needs to be loving and not possessive of you. She's trying to bring harmony along.

Depends on the Shaman. Shamans practice Native American magic. I am studying to become a shaman myself and I have never head of such a thing in my life! She sounds like a fraud. Native American Shamans don't use Tarots cards either that's a pagan ritual. We also cannot do anything that may hurt a person unless they have already hurt someone by magical means. Than a shaman can bring judgment against them and punish them in really harsh ways I won't mention. No shaman can enter the mind of another person without their permission. A Shaman cannot make anyone think or act a certain way towards someone. This lady sounds like a quack. The best way to be real is to accept each other as you are. Love unconditionally. Love without regrets. No magic that is helpful to you will ever bring about in your relationship what you want. it can only harm ya. Magic returns to the person who casts it. If you allow this woman to cast magic on your boyfriend to do something against his will it will come back on you and it could harm you. Don't let anyone cast a spell for ya. The problems that could arise from it is not worth it. Shamans worked with your soul to find balance in life and in the next. Many native Americans believe you are reincarnated especially if you do not learn the lesson of this life you are doomed to repeat it till you learn it. They also work with spirits of love ones, family members who has passed on to seek their advice and wisdom. I still speak to Grandmother who passed on who was and still is a real source of wisdom in my life. She even comes to me when I am working on a very hard issue in my life. Cancer isn't a disease that the Native Americans had, but in recent times I have heard of a shaman healing cancer. Shamans know what herbs to use to cure someone. For example if you use Peppermint oil it cures an upset stomach. Not to mention bad breath! Herbs and plants have been used for thousands of years by Native American and other cultures around the world its what modern medicine is based. Every culture around the world has enhanced modern medicine in one way or another. For example: Beledonna slo a posion it can be used to cure problems of the stomach. Sage is often use to cleanse the soul and the system. it's considered sacred. Tobacco, before the white men companies took it and made it addictive and and posionous was used for healing. "passing over a cancer" could also mean that the shama saw the cancer. Shama has an extra sense they can see, hear, feel and sense things other people cannot. All senses are heightened by a shama's powers so that they can better help someone. I hope this helps.

If this is an email psychic I would hardly believe in it. What she says she can do is so far fetched it's silly. Try your own bit of testing him to see if what she says is real. If he doesn't walk away from you then he still has feelings for you. If he seems indifferent, I don't think she is right.

I think that just as there are good and bad people, there are good and bad shamans. Most shamans are people. Don't worry too much about it. Go without paying someone massive amounts of money and find a path yourself.

It doesn't really matter whether it's wrong or not, because as things stand, it's impossible. All the 'psionics' and 'psychic powers' and 'magic' and 'spirits' and so on are all pure BS. I suggest you read up on your physics (different thing from psychics) so you understand how the Universe ACTUALLY works as opposed to how you might LIKE it to work.
