Nowhere is it in my lease that I have limmitted parking and now my landlord is trying to restrict the number of vehicles I have as well as where I park. Can the do this?

Yes, he can. The landlord can impose rules & regulations on property use, and that ability to impose rules is most likely explicitly stated in your lease, even if the specific rule regarding parking is not.

Even if it is not in your contract, the landlord can control how you use his property. (I am a landlord, I know). For example, no one writes in the contract that you can not have a vegetable garden in the living room but it is understood that you will not. Similarly, if you have two parking spaces in the drive and you want to park additional cars on the lawn, the landlord can stop you from doing that. He can not however restrict you from from using the driveway.

well if the lease said limited parking ... but since they own the land i guess they can.
