Here's my process. It's a bit time consuming, but it's not as hard as it sounds.

-Wash with Dawn to remove all wax (Never use Dawn for regular washes though as the alkalinity will remove wax)
-Clay.
-Wash with a mixture of Klasse All In One & water
-Klasse All In One
-Usually 3 coats of Zaino Z5 (with Zaino Z7 between coats)
-Usually 2 coats of Zaino Z2 (with Zaino Z7 between coats)
-Stand back and admire your work.

If that sounds a bit too much, you can always skip the Zaino and just use Klasse Sealant Glaze instead. Not quite as deep and rich as the Zaino, but still very nice. Going this route, my g/f did her car in ~3hours with drying and it looks pretty good. Remember, the cleaner you get you car in the initial steps, the better the end result. You should have a good coat of wax, or your car will never have the glossy look you're going for. As for normal washes, I just use a mixture of Klasse AIO and water, or you can use a car wash you can pick up at your local auto parts store. However, I can't say enough about the Klasse line of products...

Buy some Autowash (it's special made for washing cars), a bucket, a sponge, and a fleece or wool washing glove. Start on the room and work down. Never let the soap dry on the car. Once you've thoroughly rinsed it off, dry it with a large towel, or better, a chamois cloth. Use the sponge on the wheels. Then buy some McGuirers Auto Polish (Yellow #28 is great). That's the real secret, beyond drying it. After you've polished it (you polish it the same way you wax it), then wax it. Most people suggest waxing it twice. That way you cover up any areas you might have missed with the first wax job. Do all of this in the shade! and plan on taking a couple days and do a good job.

don't be too mush of a perfectionist. You can buy special soap, but dish soap will do. It all depends how much U care about Ur car. If You just want a clean ride. This is what you'll need would buy:
bucket
A scrubing mit
old shirts
good shammie
A window wiper

Water with soap in teh bucket
Scrub car with scrub mit
Scrub tires and rims with teh old shirts or buy a gentle car wash brush

Rinse and then dry with shammie. U can also dry teh windows with a shammie. This will save U lots of $ in the long run but It'll cost U just to get started. Good luck

Grab a bucket with water mixed with liquid soap.

Then, grab some sponges and a hose.

1. Spray your car with the hose.
2. Start dippin your sponge into the bucket.
3. Go around the car and scrape everywhere with the sponge.
4. When you think your car is clean enough, spray it again and you could let it dry up by itself.

It's fun to have a partner so invite someone active, such as a child. And you should have everything you need before doing the steps I do.

Wear your worst clothes.
Everytime you are almost out of soap and water, go get more. Clean your sponge with the hose and dip it in the bucket again.

You probably might want two buckets. One for soap and water and one for water.

Are you kidding?

Sell your damn car & buy yourself a bicycle!!!

No seriously, here's what you could do if you have the time, energy & inclination to do so...

Use a bucket, lukewarm clean water, a sponge and some liquid soap (such as dish detergent) and start scrubbing buddy!

You might wanna use a water hose (such as a garden hose) to get the dirt & dust off your car first and then to rinse your car clean once you're done washing it.

Or better yet, find yourself a cheap car wash!

Good luck to you buddy!

And remember to take it easy!

P.S. Have you ever seen the movie Wild Things with Neve Campbell, Matt Dillon, Kevin Bacon and Denise Richards?

Find yourself two sexy girls & get them to wash your car for $5 a piece while having a wet t-shirt contest!!! LOL

1. Wash off all the loose dirt off of your car.
2. Soap and wash
3. If you don't have it already, some car stores have some sort of detailing clay, affordable, which you use to clay out and smoothen the body of your car while it is wet (really works)
4. Dry (wax if need)
5. done - your car will feel & look brand new

I bought a friend a car cleaning kitt by Mister Clean. It has a bottle you attach to your hose. They sell them at Canadian tire or any auto supply store. It dires spotless if you do it right. Also I recommend using a chammy to dry as opposed to drip dry.
