Does anyone know how to remove red Kool-Aid from a brand new carpet??? Tried Oxykic, DiDi7 anything else out there?
The ironic part is I never serve that junk to my kids and the one time I do, oh what a mess.

The only way that you will be able to get the red dye out of your carpet would to be call a specialist out. I have been cleaning carpets for 5 years and 99% of the time a customer trys to do stuff themselves they end up making it worse and ruining the carpets. Red #40 is a very difficult stain. I do know that your local Chem-Dry should be able to get the stain almost all the way out if not all the way most of the time if they cant get it out good enough for you then they wont charge you for their services. Just dont use oxi clean or anything like that as oxi clean has a tendency of bleaching the carpet out.

You could have problems because the color in the drink may stain or dye the carpet.

The first thing to do is remove as much liquid as possible - use a clean dry cloth or towel and dab up as much as possible. When you've done that spread salt over the spill and press it down hard - put lots of salt on - it draws the moisture out of the carpet and unlike some things it won't set the stain.

When you've done that try removing small amounts of the stain with clean, cold water. If it works then continue until the stain has gone, if it doesn't work then try warm water. If that doesn't work then try biological detergents. If that doesn't work call in a specialist.

After trying to clean then draw off as much moisture as possible - again use cloths and salt. If you're going to call in a specilaist get one to come as soon as possible and keep the carpet damp by covering the spill with polythene and putting some books or something on it (it's easier to remove damp stains than dry ones).

Did you dry OxyClean? I know red kool aid stains really bad! That sucks and I'm sorry!! There is also a stain remover I've found to work well...I think its called Spot Shot, its in a blue aerosol can with orange on it

Also, for in the future if you decide to make it again....I always buy the kool aid that is clear...they have a few different flavors that are pretty good, and tastes just like the colored~but it looks like water!

study all the solutions and verify out them and keep attempting some thing and each and every thing. in case you make investments in the carpet shampooer (extracter) you'd be happier notwithstanding it nevertheless gained't consistently artwork. I extremely frankly does no longer purchase any stain remover it extremely is too expensive until eventually it has a money decrease back assure. The dye is close to to no longer available to get out until eventually you do it proper now with an extractor and then it would not consistently artwork. I genuinely have offered many products from QVC & HSN that say they'll take the stains out, some I genuinely have had accessible at the same time as the spill occurred and nevertheless did not artwork, so my funding became delivery the product decrease back. some products you get at WalMart have money decrease back rules also. try spot treaters or enzymes. My in demand, after eliminating as a lot as you are able to from the carpet (blot do not rub) sprinkle Borax instant then spray undemanding eco-friendly on it and scrub it in. initiate on the exterior of the stain and in a round action artwork your way in, this keeps the stain from spreading out. enable this sit down, I genuinely have for as a lot as an hour, then get it up, I genuinely have an extractor, in case you do not you'll prefer to do extremely some blotting and upload water and blot, etc. it is going to take extremely some artwork so that you would no longer prefer to do it without the extractor. Borax would not foam so as that enables yet undemanding eco-friendly does and that is what you ought to get out. in case you do not get the purifier out the section will merely keep getting grimy faster than some thing of the carpet. For me after I genuinely have a "pink" kool help spot I ascertain no longer some thing will be worse so i am going to attempt some thing and each and every thing yet in case you do not sense this way be certain you try each and every thing first on your carpet in an section it is not any longer too major like a closet. another difficulty to bear in mind as quickly because it dries your probabilities of eliminating are a lot worse, so even once you ought to spritz it with water until eventually eventually you purchase some thing keep doing it, you're diluting the stain besides, it may't harm. in case you locate some thing that works remember to percentage it.

Try a spot carpet cleaner like Spot Shot or Resolve. I use Resolve and it has worked on every stain I've ever tried to remove.
