I accidently closed something i typed with out saving it is there anyway i can get it back?

I don't think so. I usually save as soon as I start a document and I have my computer set to auto save every minute. Good luck.

If you used Microsoft Word, it automatically caches your documents every ten minutes. Try to go to File and look in the list at the bottom that is numbered and see if you see your document there. You may see two down arrows at the bottom of the list that you may have to click in order to see them. You can also look on your desktop for a transparent document with a ' $ ' somewhere in the title. That's where it stores it until it is saved. I hope this works for you, I hate when that happens. =)

look for a file called book1 or book2 etc... Usually word saves your file to a genertic name like book# something. If not, look at this web site.
