Evelyn Y Davis proposal: "That the shareholders recomend that the Board take necessary steps that Lockheed Martin specifically identify by name and corporate title in all future proxy statements those executive officers, not otherwise so identified, who are contractually entitled to receive in excess of $500,000.00 annually as a base salary, together with whatever other additional compensation bonuses and other payments were due them"

Note --- The Board of Directors is unananimously agaist this Proposal.

I might be a bit naive about US reporting practices, but isn't this something that is already disclosed in their Annual Notice of Meeting to Shareholders. Typically, all public Canadian corporations disclose the salaries, bonuses, options and other compensation granted to the officers of the company (for the prior 3 annual reporting periods) regardless of their compensation.

If this isn't common practice in the US, it should be...especially when the salaries are $500k+.

I think it's a wonderful idea. Shareholders should have the right to know how much the company pays it's top people.

Yes - greater transparency about management compensation is always a good thing.
