Brady Quinn. Frye isn't cutting it...

Best money would be on a QB simply because they dont believe Frye is the answer (and they would let Frye start this season...if he turns things around they have the ability to trade him like the Falcons with Schaub). Another reason would be value...it is easier to part with top of the draft money on a QB than a tackle (which is why the Lions want to move out of the 2nd pick). Quinn will be there for them and remember one thing....Crennel just happens to know the ND headcoach so he will know exactly what he is getting in Quinn. If they decide QB isnt the direction they are headed then the pick almost certainly is Peterson or to trade down to the 8,9, or 10th pick and pick up Levi Brown (better dollar value to get a tackle with pick 10 than pick 3). The wildcard in this whole scenario will be what the Lions do, they wont pick Thomas in the 2 slot (plus they have Backus and Foster already making 1st round money at the tackle position).....would they really pick Johnson (it is Millen), are they high on Quinn themselves (they may be, they did show interest in Trent Green so they are thinking about the QB spot) or will they trade down to Tampa Bays slot and grab Gaines Adams(Tampa is hot to get Johnson)....Marinelli needs to upgrade the defense and Adams fits the mold of players he favors. If that happens Quinn falls right in Clevelands lap....if Miami (who are loading up draft picks at the moment....a precursor to a big deal?) or Minnesota make a play for the Lions pick then Peterson becomes a Brown....both of those teams would move to get Quinn. Also the Browns have a history with the Lions, they swapped the 6th and 7th picks 2 years ago so the Browns could grab Winslow...maybe they make a similar deal this year?

The club needs help in so many areas I wouldn't be surprised if a deal isn't worked out to trade the pick for additional selections on draft day. If that doesn't happen I strongly feel Peterson will be pick, with hopes that he'll team with Lewis and become the Mack-Byner duo as the club finally gets onto a path of respectibility.

I don't see them drafting Brady Quinn if the Lions and Raiders pass up on Joe Thomas then I thing the Browns should take him.(Don't forget that Troy Smith asked the Browns to draft him so that could be their second round pick)

If he is still available, the Browns will draft WR Calvin Johnson of Georgia Tech. He is the best pure athlete and playmaker available and would fit them perfect. If however, Johnson is gone, they will either pick QB JaMarcus Russell of LSU or RB Adrian Peterson of Oklahoma (in that order), whichever is still available.

Adrian Peterson. The future Browns bruiser, has a very Jim Brown-esque running style. He's a perfect fit.

If they are smart they will take the best avaliable player and most likely that would be brady quinn. Plus they need a franchise QB, however I wouldn't start quinn right away i would put him behind someone that he can learn, Look at what that did for Carson Palmer. If they just put him in he will be another David Carr.

i'm surprised there isn't more consideration for thomas to end up with the browns, but supposedly cleveland isn't really considering him...i think they will end up with peterson, because the lions are looking to deal the second pick and whoever gets that one will get either calvin johnson or brady quinn, so the easy pick becomes peterson

Hopefully Joe Thomas to solidify the line for the future, next year there are some pretty good running backs coming out Darren Mcfadden , Ray Rice, & john hart.
