So she could look super glamorous for the role and outshine Jennifer Hudson (which didn't work obviously). I dunno but she is so overrexposed and overrated! I'm tired of seeing her everywhere (tv, movies, radio interviews, magazines, awards shows, gossip magazines). The public will tire of her soon if she doesn't stop trying to be the "ultimate superstar diva".

Maybe she thought it would get her the oscar for method acting. It is pathetic really why didn't they just hire a thin actress - I'll answer my own question, because they knew her fans would be more inclined to go see the movie, and it would therefore take at least $20.00 at the hip hop box office, and maybe another £10.00 here in the UK. Don't want to sound fattist but she could do with losing another couple of stones, and no, I'm not a big fan.

I don't know she didnt need to. I 'm tired of Beyonce...it's overkill. She is good at what she does but enough already.

The singer she was playing WAS very skinny, so the producers told her to lose 20lbs, and Jennifer Hudson had to gain 20. Beyonce hated being thet skinny, and says she didn't even recognize herself. She said "I WANNA EAT"!!

turn dinner into a healthy lunch the next day by wrapping your lean leftovers in a whole wheat wrap add a little dijon mustard or curry powder for added flavor

Because too many women think that being thin is beautiful, where as most of the guys I know would rather their girlfriend to have a bit of meat on her so that they can look at them with out wanting to be sick because they can see ribs etc...

I don't understand either. I think it was because Effie was supposed to be overweight and Deena was supposed to be the opposite of Effie. I don't really know its just my opinion.
