I don't know what good it would do you to know someone ELSE's favourite fragrance - unless you were intending to give it to her/him as a gift. Just in case ... make mine Escape by Calvin Klein!
Does anyone else think, like I do, that the famous Chanel No. 5 smells like the stale urine in a Public Convenience?
Some of my favourite and evocative NATURAL smells: The near-intoxicating scent of orange blossom in the evening breeze coming from a nearby citrus orchard when I lived abroad; the ozone smell of clean laundry when it has been dried outdoors in the fresh air; freesia flowers which always remind me of weddings (I love the freesias but not necessarily the weddings!); young unripe mangos which had fallen from a tree and which I had picked up and taken home - their perfume filled the whole apartment ..... to me, these natural fragrances are better than anything that could be manufactured.

For women its an oil called Egyptian Musk.
