Why does my Memorex mini travel drive not eject properly?

When I open a JPG photo, close it and then eject device -- I get an error message. It always ejects properly for word processing and other documents. Anyone know? Or had this problem?

It usually happens when the program is still running. Try killing the image program and see if the drive is released.

I sometimes use task manager to end the program.

Also, you can log off and back on. Then eject.
