What is your nickname and how did you get it?

I have quite a few nicknames depending on who I'm talking to. My dad called me "Peanuts" since I was born...don't even know why.
Long story that I'll try to keep short...Was suddenly allergic to my gold rings and my fingers got totally swollen. No matter what we did we couldn't get the rings off. My daughter's boyfriend had to cut the rings off. I had a few drinks, went to bed, and my daughter said she was worried about my fingers being so swollen and hoped I'd be better in the morning. I said, "I'll be betty in the morning"....obviously meaning to say better. We laughed and she told me that she would pass that on...that I will be betty in the morning. The very next night on tv they announced the new show Ugly Betty. We couldn't stop laughing and since then my daughter has called me Ugly Betty. Harummphhh...before all this she used to call me Hot Momma...

Rearl world: Emmy (my initials); Kitty (clawed crap out of my brother as a teenager) and Belle, the name of one of my D&D characters. Some strange people actually call me by my name, which never seems familiar!

I have a lot of nicknames: mandy, shy girl,quiet girl,vanilla,french vanilla.

The reason what my friends said about french vanilla or just regular vanilla it's because im white.

shy girl or quiet girl is because I don't like to talk that much & im always shy to talk to people once I start to know them.

and mandy is my real nickname because amanda aka mandy. lol

My nickname is Sasha.

My full name is Alexandra, I've never been called alexandra in my life (except by doctors and stuff cause its on my birth certificate). My parents named me alexandra then decided it was too long to say and didn't want to call me alex cause it sounded like a boys name. So, they called me Sasha. They tried to call me alexandra after a few years and I said "what? thats not my name" cause I havent ever been called that.
So, I've been called Sasha for 20 years.

my name on yahoo is alex, because Sasha seems more like my real name now, and I was trying to use a different name than what I'm normally called

My Dad calls me Nurse Heather, I am a nurse and the Heather part comes from a television show called Mary Hartman Mary Hartman that used to be on and her daughters name was Heather and Dad thought I had her attitude!

Kell-Bell... I pissed my aunt off by calling her aunt-Suey when I was 2 and the whole family that it was just the funniest thing they ever heard and 23 years later they all still emarress us BOTH by calling us that in public. If my ant was just a bit more mature I wouldnt even be answering this stupid question.

Saber because I have a gladiator tattoo with two crossing sabers in the middle of my chest and that's the name my mom wanted to named me, but my dad insist on naming me Mattimus. And my mom b**** slap him for a while for disagreeing with her, but my dad is tough as a nail. My mom got tired of slapping my dad silly and finally gives it. So my real name is Mattimus Emerson Li, but I go by the name Saber Emerson Li. Everybody that knows me calls me Saber not Mattimus. My family, homies, co-workers, boss, etc.

2. Moonshine - I grew up in the south and my grandfather made moonshine.
