Yes, those files are safe to delete. Ccleaner is a brilliant peice of software, I'm not an expert and have used it safely for 18 months with no problems.
When you run the Issues tool, hit 'Fix selected issues' then it will offer to back up the registry. Let it.
It will make a plain text file in your My Docs folder. If any of your programs stop working you can open My Docs and put those registry entries back by double clicking on the file name of that text file, and your registry will be restored. But I've never had to do that.
Keep those back ups for a couple of months just in case but I'd be surprised if you ever need to use them!
Avoid other registry cleaners, they delete duplicate files, and Windows uses some duplicates! Ccleaner is safe.

Yes, i use CCleaner all the time. This is a great peice of software that i reccomend to everyone.
Basically what it is doing is searching your computer for cookies etc that maybe slowing down your internet connection and slowing down your computer. Clicking run will not damage your computer and actually free's space up and over time you notice a difference.
With the ISSUES section as well. This is great because it detects problems in the reistry. Like if you have uninstalled a program this will remove the registry files making more space on your computer.
This is a great little tool and the creators of the software are constatly updating it. Plus another nifty tool if you click on settings and browse through that you can actually set it to delete with 7 NSA Passes (so really secure deletion) so if you have any important documents or images you dont want people to see you can delete it with that.
Use this program because over time it makes a huge huge difference.
Cheers & Hope this helps,

I don't mean to be rude but be wary of Jay C. Anybody who knows anything knows about Computers knows about the legendary C.Cleaner better known as Crap Cleaner because that is exactly what it does removes useless space filling crap from your pc. This programme has and has had a terrific reputation for many years from both the man in the street and the experts. It does not do bad things to your computer. It removes such as temporary files regularly left after installing new programs as these files are no longer needed. It can also be used to safely clean up the registry (Issues as it calls them) removing entries left behind after programs are uninstalled. You will often read that interfering with the registry is perilous but unlike some programmes Crap Cleaner is not an aggressive application which runs amok. It also makes back ups before you tell it to act which can be restored if anything goes wrong. I along with many family members, friends and colleauges have been using this little gem for years without any problems whatsoever. Crap Cleaner is a little like Fairy Liquid in that it does what it promises without doing damage. If I can't convince you visit CastleCops www.castlecops.com or any other pc users forums where you will find the views and opinions of thousands of happy CC users. CastleCops will be invaluable as a source of information and guidance for you. Prior to downloading or installing any programme I would suggest you ask if any of the members at CastleCops have experience of same. Their knowledge will help you decide what to install. You will also learn what not to touch with a ten foot pole.
Don't hesitate to come back here if you have any other questions. Always glad to help. My ID on CastleCops is hitbit

I don't understand what you mean by C Cleaner? Is this a program of some kind? If it is something you have purchased and you trust it, then it may be OK to FIX. You ask about what to delete, I wonder if you are talking about programs and junk on your C drive. You may contact me for assistance with cleaning up your C Drive and running Defragment.
