Career - what kind of career could you exercise with a Masters in English Literature?

wow I am wondering the same thing, I am about to pursue my MA in English (actually writing my 500 word statement) i dont want to teach and i would imagine that the masters can only help us in whatever jobs we seek - such as in publishing, editing, newspapers, etc. Im looking forward to seeing what answers you get. Any advice for me since Im planning to embark on the english MA? thanks- EMAIL me
