I have a house you might be interested in renting, in the Catskills (NY). Its on 23 acres, so, yes, there are plenty of trees and mountains around.

look in the roanoke va. area. good schools, mnts., lots of rivers and lakes. 1100 a month will get you a very nice house on smith mountian lake. their newspaper is called the roanoke times. if it will help in searches, 1 zip code there is 24012. beautiful country.
