Craigslist.com is a great place to find a cheap cage. Keep checking it if you dont see a cage the first time you look.

DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH IT. Its not worth it. I got an all metal "guinea pig" cage from petco and it was its most expensive. Its better to spend top dollar on a good cage. A lot of their cages are made from plastic....which guinea pigs will chew on and make holes. Also the metal is coated which the guinea pig will also eat off. Check out this site
http://www.martinscages.com/products/cages/gpig/
your best bet will be the $60 one or the more expensive. Look how much cheaper they are...and DURABLE!!!!
Its better to spend the money on one of these cages instead of $75 for something that will be eaten up in a few months!!!!
EDIT:
Don't fall for these cages labeled guinea pig. I looked at that petsmart link. Its wayy too small for a guinea pig. You either need to house two together or constantly play with it or it will scream. Maybe you should go online and ask a breeder. They will tell you how bad petco and petsmarts cages are!!!!

Don't bother buying any cages from a pet store. Even the biggest pet store cage is way too small for a guinea pig. Check out www.guineapigcages.com for a cheap, easy way to build a cage for your guinea. I built a cage that is 2' 4" x 4' 8" with a second level that's 14" x 28" and it cost less than $40. All you have to do is find a sign place that sells coroplast sheets, mine was $20 but most places sell them for closer to $10, and then find storage cubes at a Target or WalMart type store, usually around $15-20. The website gives you step by step instructions for building them, or you can buy all the pieces from them to build yourself, and it's still a lot cheaper!

they do sell guinea pigs, but they will not be on the site. Selection will vary by store and supploer. Petsmart has a great starter kit.

Oh my goodness.........please don't waste your money on those poorly made and way-too-small cages at the petstore.
Be kind to your piggie! You can EASILY make your own cage for $30!!! All you need are some cubes & coroplast. Please see those two websites for info on how to build a C&C cage.
See www.guineapigcages.com or www.cavycages.com
Please also remember that guinea pigs cannot be housed on wire bottom cages. It must be solid. Good luck!

Type in "guinea pig cages" or "rabbit cages" at nextag.com. I found a cheap rabbit cage on there--at petco it was more than $20 more!

I'm supporting the people who made the recommendations for the C&C cages at http://guineapigcages.com/
In terms of the most bang for your buck, there is nothing better.

If you go into the store(PetSmart), there is a starter kit for guinea pigs that's bigger than this one....
http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441779171&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302047888&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023695&bmUID=1175724820537&itemNo=7&Ntt=guinea+pig+cage&In=Small+Pet&previousText=guinea+pig+cage&N=2023695
but about the same price and it has everything you need to get started, except for extra toys and hideaways...it's a really good deal, but they don't have it online, you would have to go to the store...
Hope this helps...GOOD LUCK!!!

You may find something on http://www.craigslist.org - I always find used dog crates on there for less than half of what they'd cost new!
