What is Mr Bean's first name?

His firstname is actually 'Neil'.
During the episode were he paints his flat by exploding the paint tin, one of the two guests he has for his so called new years party, shakes his hand upon arrival and says 'Neil'.

This was a question posed for a competition in one of my wifes mags and when they revealed the answer i checked it out on the video i have of that episode.

So his name is Neil Bean.

I have no idea,never heard of him referred to by a first name!Seems almost funny to think he actually may have 1 as so used to hearing him referred to as mr bean!

According to the National Gallery at London where he works as a guard, the first name he filled out on his employment application is Mr. and his last name is Bean. He is never given another name until he is improperly assumed to be Dr. Bean....
