umm.. I bought some lovely Easter lillies. not for easter, but because I couldn't not buy them. The smell had me drugged. and they cut the price of them at the grocery store...lol-I also just bougth my (real) mom some, and I was jealous.

"My Office is overflowing with flowers. How about yours???" I have nature all around me. I am very lucky in that way, but I must get the bulbs up and replant them if I want them to keep growing and finish up some work that I must start to do. I also have to prune my trees and get the vines down and get me a lawnmower so I can keep up with my yard.
"Do you get flowers for Easter? What kinds? Tulips?" No I get flowers and vegetables and whatever I want to when I decide to get them.
"Do you receive candy??? what is your gift??" No for my birthday I got a little giraffe that I was looking at getting for myself and that was a nice surprise and also a little puppy dog and I will wait until after Easter when the candy is marked down to get that.
To me it is not so much what I get, because I can get almost anything that I want to get for myself, it is who gives me what even their thoughts and that is am important gift to me. My favorite gift is hearing "I love you", when I know that a person means it. I am not unloved, I just give a lot of my time away to try to make a difference because I want to change things and leave something important behind one of these days when I have to go.

Nope I have no flowers or fdo I get gifts, being a long time since anyone has given me anything.. I do the giving and well be giving chocolates out tomorrow :D

My flowers are in the yard. It was around 80F this week, but it's getting cold with snow predicted. The daffodils are covered as well as the lilac. The forsythia and pear tree are too big to cover so I hope the buds don't die.

Snowing tonight....
no flowers out there !!
Not technically Easter in here ..
so no flowers as of yet...
We did purchse a dozen daffodils for a fund raiser..
they lasted ..one night ..
in the trash as we speak..
oh well...I love plastic ones....
No watering...
No taking of lives from a living thing...
oh well...
