When they had Sandy and Don pitching, that was a great combination of hurlers. They weren't afraid to pitch the inside corner of the plate.

My favorite memory of the Dodgers is when they were up 2 games to none on the Yankees in the 1978 world series and then in game three, Reggie was going from first to second on a potential double play ball and the shortstop hit him with the throw and the Dodgers started crying that it should have been interference but it wasn't called and they all kept on crying as the Yanks won the next 4 games in a row.

The 1981 Dodgers beating the New York Yankees in the World Series. The 80's was the only decade the Yankees did not win a World Series.

Wow you are so LUCKY to have been to that game!!!
But I was at the Dodgers vs Giants game where Greg Madox threw only 68 pitches and Barry Bonds was helpless ( a great day)
And after 10 innings Russel Martin hit the walk-off home run to complete the weekend sweep of the Giants!!
*It also put them in first place over the Padres
(Dodger stadium was going CRAZY)

Sandy Koufax throwing a 4 hit shutout in game 5 of the 1965 World Series, then coming back on 2 days rest to throw a 3 hit shutout in game 7. One of the greatest performances in the history of the World Series.

Mine was Gibson's home run and Hershiser's breaking of Drysdale's consecutive scoreless innings pitched. It was a very magical season for the best team in MLB. Go Blue!!
