If you ask an adult they will choose to go back 20 years.
If you ask a child... of course they want to be a grown up person.
As an adult, I would like to get 20 years back, and have the knowledge that I have now being 20 years younger.

back 20 years, because i will probably be dead in 20 years from now. (short life spans in my family). plus there are some things i would change in the past if i could.

i guess if i HAD to i would go back 20 years. i would be 5 years old. maybe i would make some different choices and not screw up as much as i did!

Well, considering that I would be 40 years old, why not jump to the future? Definitely go 20 years ahead...just to see my kids, house, husband, job, and how old I look! lol

I would prefer to go forward. The kids would be grown up & left home, I'd be mortgage free, I'd be retired from work (or close to it) & be travelling the country.
