I prefer to use my debit card. I hardly carry cash around with me.

that's tough. i tend to spend more money when i use a debit card. we have recently started giving ourselves a $50 a week allowance to buy things and i tend to think about if i want to spend my money on certain things that i would have otherwise bought. but for groceries, gas and stuff i use my debit card.

Debit is the safest way to go but I always travel with some green folded in my pocket, never in my wallet.
