All we know is the starting date of Playoffs. Next Wednesday. Usually Game One of each and every series should be played either Wednesday or Thursday.

The schedule wont be released until the match ups are confirmed and you know when the arenas are available, and how much they bend for US TV, and other such logistics. If small market Pittsburgh plays a Canadian Team, and big market New York is playing New Jersey, you won't have to worry about TV altering your schedule.

It is looking pretty firm Pittsburgh verses Ottawa, should be confirmed after Thursday night games, so hopefully by Friday you can get a tentative schedule. Officially, probably not until all the series are set.

starts next wednesday and right now the east looks like it will be a wild one. Ottawa-Pittsburg is pretty much the match up. Atlanta-Tampa in 3-6 and New Jersey/Rangers 2-7 YIKES! Bufflao may have an easy one with either Montreal or Toronto.

The west is more simple. Detroit-Calgary/Colorado no battle here and no first round exit for Detroit this time. Anaheim will overpower Minnesota, Vancouver/Dallas should be a good one and Nashville San Jose oh sweet!!!!!

The first round schedule will be announced Monday.
