I'm 5'5" but I feel really tall most of my friends are short shortest would be 4'10" and tallest would be 5'2" so I'm the tallest I hate the fact that they keep telling me I'm tall and that even if they wear heels I'll still be tall? I dont want to wear heels anymore and everyone I come in contact with just seems to be shorter than me I'm really beginning to feel like a giant. Even though I'm only 5'5"

Don't worry I think tall girls are sexy and very elegant since they have long legs. You're not even that tall tall would be 6'0 and above so you're 5" shorter than a tall girl.

I'm guessing that if you still have friends that are 4"10 that you are at a young age and they will grow more once they have completed puberty. Also, I am 5"4 and I would LOVE to be taller so people just have different views. The average height for a grown woman I think is around 5"6, give or take. Stand proud, don't sweat it.

I'm 5'5 and I always thought that was average. Though I have also been told I'm tall too! imo 5'5 is average. I love to wear heels when I go out and I don't care if it makes me look a little tall. It's sexy!

I know how you feel, I was 5'8'' by the time I graduated middle school! I am now 5'11" but I have learned to embrace and be happy with my height. I love being tall now. I used to never wear heels and slouch and now I have bad back problems. Be confident and happy with yourself. Stand tall and be happy with your height.

Dude: don't worry, I am 5'7" and 14. Take a chill pill. And do you know how awesome I would consider it to be 5'9" or 6'0"? It is really cool being tall: It is proven that taller people get more respect :) but if you want to be cute, I don't know what to tell you. But hey, I put more value on respect than cuteness.
