If I was to explain the physics of a cell phone for a summative project, what should I talk about? The presentation is 3 minutes maximum, and I have to write a scientific report.

I would talk about how the electrical signal from the cell phone travels through the air at a specific frequency to the cell phone tower, whereas normal phones have this transmission through a wire. Basically, the sound gets converted to electric signals and then gets transmitted in all directions from teh antenna (newer phones don't have an external antenna, but they have a transmitter somewhere) and then eventually, this signal gets to a cell phone tower which transmits it to other towers using wires and then that tower transmits it to the person using wireless transmission.

It is the same principle of wireless notebooks and basically, everything wireless uses this.

Off the top of my head -
The EMF (electromotive force) of the battery, the resistance of the components and the battery's voltage and current.

The signals produced eg, radiowaves and how they travel - what are they etc.

You can't even begin to describe how it works in three minutes.
