I need help with my ps3!!!!?

my ps3 is amazing, but i have a problem, whenever i try to do a video chat with my friend it says the connection could not be made, check my NAT type. so i went and checked my nat type and it was 3, can i change my nat type to 2 so i can chat with my friends? If so, can you explain how to do this. the router is mine, but i have no clue how to use it. it is a lynksis. I would like to kno asap THX!!

You have to set up a wireless connection with your psp and you have to unblock your protection if you have it on the router and then go to settings then click connections and run through the menu and you should be able to find it.
