Lot harder and a lot heavier than a 2WD vehicle. There is a transfer case that needs to be removed as well. Buy the repair manual for the exact steps. Do not recomend using a salvage yard trans unless you have no plans on keeping the truck. If you are, then buy a reman from Jasper, around $2500 and up. You can try auto zone, they seem to carry transmissions now too with a decent warrantee.

Oh boy!!

That's a MAJOR job.
Without the right tools, jacks, stands, and such you're not going to be able to do it.
