hey mark!

you have submitted this question before and it must be driving you nuts......

you never know...maybe one of the parts you put in could be defective?...even if they are all brand new parts!...

the direct answer to your question is that you must raise the vehicle on a lift remove the drive shaft. remove the yoke on the transmission. replace or realign the gear...

mark...listen to me .....i have checked out many many ford trucks and cars for bad transmission gears...

i stick my finger in the hole and feel the gear...if it is bad: it will feel bad....it will feel "bowed".....

there is a real good transmission shop in my hood (Ron gates transmission). they charge a fair rate and would charge $150 or do to do this job. it should take only about 90 minutes or so if all the parts are on hand...do not let anyone tell you that it is major work!!!! i have heard horror stories of guys paying 500+ for this type of work and that sucks!

i hope this helps. good luck!

Speedometer bouncing is usually the cable binding from being kinked.
