About 2 years ago I dyed my hair dark brown, and my eye brows were really light. soooo i made a huge mistake and shaved them really thin so i could draw them on with a darker brow pencil. ive been looking into getting the permanant makeup for my eye brows... so i dont have the hassle of drawing them on every morning. has any one done that before?? does it hurt??

I have a friend that did it & it was a bit uncomfortable for her. Also, the tatoos fade over time & have to be re-touched.

Here are some articles about using Rogaine to promote eyebrow hair growth & filling your brows, etc. FYI:

I've done permanent make-up on my eyebrows at least 5 times over the past 8 years. It does hurt a little, but they now numb the area, so the pain is not as sharp. Take a Tylenol before your appointment, it will minimize the pain. Good luck!

I think you should let your eyebrows grow back. i plucked mine too thin once and they looked awful but after a couple of weeks they grow back. shaped eyebrows with a bit of dark eyeshadow to build them up looks great and very natural.

Are you talking like the tattoo eyebrows? It'd be like plucking, alittle bit of discomfort at first, but soon goes numb.

Well someone told me, in NY its illegal. Cos it could get in your eyes, and you could go blind.

Idk what the law is in your state, but be cautious so you dont go blind.

i think you should let your eyebrows grow back and dye them...it looks much better than drawing them on.
