Yes, because they blindly preach abstenance instead of being responsible community leaders and teaching safe sex practices. But believe me, it's not just the catholic church, but all of the houses of God. And I mean no disrespect to those who are religious or who believe in God, I myself am not. The truth is, there are a lot of people who are willing to throw the bible at the problem and hope and pray by the grace of their God that the problem will just "go away". Well folks, it's not and as one of the largest community influences, the church should make safe sex practices, as well as sexually transmitted disease awareness, and birth control one of its highest priorities. Do this along with preaching, and I bet that not only will the AIDS/HIV rate decrease, sexually transmitted diseases in general and teenage pregnancy will as well.

No.

Judeo-Christian tradition has taught for thousands of years:
1. Single people should be celibate.
2. Married people should be faithful to each other (adultery is wrong).
3. Married couples should welcome God's gift of children and, therefore, artificial birth control is against the will of God.

If the world is going to ignore teachings about chastity (1 & 2), then why is the world so upset about teaching artificial birth control (3)?

People who are already ignoring the more important teachings about chastity (1 and 2) should have no problem ignoring the less important teaching of artificial birth control (3).

Even if a person infected with AIDS was to use a condom to help protect his or her spouse, condoms are not 100% effective (read the box) and the spouse may be infected and die anyway. A person who truly loves their spouse would not endanger them in this way.

In regards to sex outside of marriage, the Church makes it a practice not to tell people how to sin. Fornication with or without a condom is still fornication. Adultery with or without a condom is still adultery.

With love in Christ.

Not unless they are infecting the holy water, or the wine that is being drank is really blood.

The answer is no contray to what anyone says people are respsonsible for there own actions. Everyone is so worried about placing the blame on other people for ther iresponsobilities!

I think that a religion that prohibits the use of condoms definitely does contribute to the spread of HIV/AIDS.

All I f^ck is chimps and orangutans. Do you know how long it took me to train this monkey to suck my d!ck, without peeling first? Last night chim chim jerked me off with his feet. Only a monkey can show you that kind of love and tenderness. So Y'all can keep f^cking these people if you want to, THAT'S MORE MONKEY PU$SY FOR ME. All I f^ck is chimps and orangutans.

I know. They said not for people to use condoms. This may help Catholics stay all holy and whatever but it sure doesn't help you stay alive in todays STD world.

Nope........... individuals are responsible for their own actions.

If I recall, the catholic church all all for abstinence..... then why don't more people abstain from pre marital sex???

PS: I'm not catholic.... just hate your question.
